Hi!
I’m Pratik Wadmare, a first-year PhD student in Educational Psychology at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign. My research interests include psychometric measurement methods, such as item response theory, classical test theory, and latent variable models, as well as using quantitative methods to measure the impact of social policies.
I have worked with two leading education research organizations in India: ASER Centre and J-PAL South Asia. At both, I contributed to the design and implementation of experimental and observational studies on topics such as early childhood education, foundational literacy and numeracy, educational technology, affirmative action, and vocational skilling.
I am also interested in the implementation side of education programs. I support non-profit organizations in developing theories of change, designing and executing monitoring, evaluation, and learning (MEL) frameworks, and building strategic partnerships to launch initiatives that address pressing social challenges.
If our professional interests align, I would be happy to connect. Please feel free to reach out via email, I would love to learn more about your work and exchange ideas.
